Invaghitosi della bella, il Principe le si promette sposo donandole un meraviglioso anello e la conduce con lui. Mentre vanno al castello, però, la bella fanciulla viene uccisa da una strega che si sostituisce a lei e mostrando l'anello di fidanzamento al principe lo obbliga alle nozze.
